Adoption Application
Thank you for your interest in a Nadina Golden puppy.
Here is a brief overview of what the process looks like to get a puppy from Nadina Goldens.
- If you think you would be interested in a puppy from us, we like to get to know you a bit more through you filling out our puppy application. Feel free to ask any questions you have in the puppy application and/or through email ahead of time.
- If we are both comfortable proceeding, we do ask that you provide a $400 non-refundable deposit to confirm your interest in an upcoming puppy from us.
We do not make any guarantee as to what litter this will be from, however if you are ONLY interested in a specific litter please let us know up front and we can discuss that as a possible option. - From there we ask that you stay in touch and I will provide updates of any future litters.
- At 7 - 8weeks of age we do full temperament evaluations and structural evaluations on the litter. These evaluations are used in combination with what we have gotten to see and know of each individual puppy through their first 2 months of life with us. We are then able to use all that information about the puppy plus what we have learned about you and we match each puppy to their new homes.
It is at this point where we definitely know what puppy is going to what home (although we will have a general idea prior to that and you will be well aware of my thoughts on whether or not your future puppy is in that litter or not). - Once puppies are matched with their families they are ready for pick up between 8-9 weeks of age. The exact day/age depends on each litter and how it works with setting up all their testing (structure/temperament/first vet check up etc).
